I love being a GP, and seeing patients who I have known for many years, or getting to know new patients. My role includes seeing patients at the practice with physical or mental health problems, doing home visits, being on call, doing review with patients living with long term conditions. I also teach and train people who want to be GPs.

During my training I worked in various different hospitals and a GP surgery in North Shields.

I qualified as a doctor in Sheffield in 1997 (MBChB) and as a GP in 2001 (MRCGP). My special interests are diabetes, people with multiple long term conditions, care and support planning, palliative care, women’s health and teaching and training.
