I really enjoy being a GP and feel it is a real privilege getting to know so many different people and families in the community. I am grateful to the many patients who also kindly contribute to the training of future generations, which is the other part of my role that I thoroughly value – teaching medical students and training doctors. I feel very lucky to work with such a supportive team who all work extremely hard for the benefit of the community.

In the past I have worked within the NHS in various parts of the country and also with Newcastle University.
