I look after patients’ physical and mental health alongside other members of the team. This includes managing acute and chronic conditions, issuing and reviewing medications, as well as liaising with secondary care where necessary.

I’ve worked at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in various wards as well as GP practices in County Durham and Whickham as part of GP training.

Qualifications

BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences 2010 and MBBS 2015 – Newcastle University
